The official rally hotel is the Hermann Crown Suites. This is where events and rides will be based from. Space is limited, so book early! (see below for booking info)
The secondary rally hotel is the Hermann Motel. Cheap rooms with decent reviews.
Camping and RV sites are available at the Hermann City Park.
There are also a ton of cute traditional B&B options as well as AirBnB, etc.
Tucked away in the Missouri River Valley, Hermann is a picture-book old German settlement village where 19th-century brick buildings hug the sidewalk, as they do in Germany. It sits in the heart of Missouri’s wine country and is surrounded by scenic roads and plenty of things to do.

Rally Schedule:
Friday afternoon: Shakedown cruise to Frankenstein, MO. This is an ~80-mile, ~2.5 hour ride to Frankenstein, MO. What’s in Frankenstein? Nothing! But we’ll take a group picture with the city limits sign and you can forever have bragging rights that you visited a town with an amazing name. Also, the route there and back is fantastic. There are no gas stations! Make sure you fill up beforehand and maybe bring an extra gallon.
Friday late afternoon / evening: Go explore Hermann! Grab some friends and have dinner at any of the fine restaraunts in town. Enjoy a wine tasting at any of the 5 wineries in town, or perhaps you’d like to sample some local beers or spirits.
8:00pm: Meet-n-Greet at Hermann Crown Suites. The hotel bar is pretty great and they will have live music. Meet and greet your fellow scooterists as the rest of the crew rolls in to town. Your first drink is on the Rally!
Saturday morning:
10:30am: The Big Ride. This is a ~56 mile route that will take ~3 hours including stops. The only gas stop is 38 miles in, so fill up before you leave. We will meet at the Hermann Crown Suites.
Stops include Swiss Meat & Sausage Co. for sausage sampling and Pinckney Bend Distillery for spirits sampling. We will spend ~45 minutes at each stop. Bring a cooler for your sausage purchases!
1:30pm: Ride ends at Wagon Works BBQ for slow-smoked meats including ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and St. Louis-style pork steaks.
Lunch alternative is the Hermann Wurst Haus in Hermann’s Business district on the Missouri Riverfront. This is a large deli & country store with lots of space and tables for a large group, and even more sausages and meats for sampling and purchase. Or you’re all sausaged out after Swiss Meats, feel free to get lunch at any of Hermann’s other dining establishments.

Parking:
Trailer parking is in one of two public parking lots. There is a gravel lot two blocks from the rally hotel at E 5th and Gutenberg St. The other major parking lot is at the Riverfront Park. There are long spots at the Riverfront Park that can accommodate a truck and attached trailer. At either lot, you should probably unload your scooter and leave both your truck/car and trailer as you are comfortable doing.
Scooter parking for those staying at the Rally Hotel is in the small lot behind their patio. Access is from the alley. It will be cordoned off for us. Please leave room for electric cars to enter and charge.
